The ordinary existence of one sole human being is, in it of itself, extremely interesting. A life filled with various chapters, one might even consider life like that of a novel. Each page revealing another caper in that person's day, week, month, year, etc. High school is yet another chapter in our lives that we, unfortunately must undergo. It's the chapter that we all hate reading, the one that drags on and on, the one that we can all relate to.

High school is filled with highs and lows as I'm sure you all know. It's been told to you for your entire life. High school isn't just ups and downs though, It's a jacked up roller coaster of emotion going upside down, sideways, loop dee loop, in a dark tunnel, out a dark tunnel, and splashed down into a pool at the end, all while on acid. THAT is high school and there's no holding back. But there is a way to deal with all the crazy shit that is literally smacked in your face, and that is optimism. Sure, you may feel defeated and broken because you never turned in that essay before 11:59, or you forgot to do your chemistry homework, and now you have a lab to do on the subject and you might just blow everyone up, or you forget about your blogs and are now doing them 2 days past their due date *cough cough*. But trust me when I say that it's okay. Of course, the goings get tough but the more you put off what you're supposed to do, the more shitty you WILL feel in the end. There's really no better feeling than getting through your boring Stats worksheet and then being able to nap the day away without a care in the world. You can make this high school experience the best experience of your life as long as you just be yourself. Be kind, be generous, and just all around be a good person and high school will be good back. It won't always be good back but don't let that discourage you.

Life isn't fair play at all. So live in the now, and just do what you're supposed to do, take risks but be smart. And so, I leave you with this: You are who you choose to be, so make it the best version of yourself that you can be....trust me, I've been stuck in this school long enough to know what I'm talking about.          xD
